Compliance

SliceOps & ISO/IEC 42001

ISO/IEC 42001 is the management-system standard for AI (AIMS), increasingly a procurement gate. Most of what it asks for is documented decisions, lifecycle control, and human accountability, which SliceOps generates as you ship.

Documented decisions & lifecycle

Decision Records (P2) map directly to the standard's documentation and lifecycle-control expectations: every decision carries context, alternatives, rationale, and a supersession chain.

Roles & human accountability

P3 (Human-in-the-Loop Authority) assigns final authority to humans and records who approved what, the accountability the standard expects.

Operational controls & evidence

P6 (Evidence by Construction) produces functional, quality, decision, and provenance evidence per slice. Pick a date range and the evidence is already there.

Continual improvement

P8 (Recursive Learning by Capture) is a first-class improvement loop: insights become learning patterns, which amend the rules, captured, not informal.

Adopting SliceOps doesn't grant certification, your auditor does that. But it builds the AIMS evidence base by construction, not as a separate workstream.
